Now that the dust seems to have settled on Facebook I am updating my How To videos. Please let me know what you think, if you have more questions and by all means feel free to share them.
I will be doing a free webinar series on using Facebook. If you are interested click on the Contact Trevor button at the top of the page and I will let you know when it is scheduled (I promise not to spam you).
NOTE: In my previous video about lists I showed you how to send a message to the members of the lists you created. There are new restrictions on sending messages and you can’t send a message to a list with more than 20 members.
If you want to send a message to a list here is what you need to do:
- Go to the Inbox link at the top of any Facebook page and click “Compose New Message”
- In the “To:” box start typing the name of the list you want to send a message to. (you can add more than one)
- Compose your message as normal, you can use all the same tools at you can as sending a message to one person.
You can create and send to multiple lists as long as there are 20 or less people in them. I have a group of business partners and I created 2 lists. One is BPartners-01 and the other is BPartners-02. Once the lists get to 20 I’ll simply create a new one with the next incremental number.
